About our Accounting and Bookkeeping Team

David Bradsher, CPA is the President of BBG. 

David is a seasoned professional with over 25 years’ experience serving clients large and small.  David started his CPA career assisting small- and medium-sized businesses. He developed a deep understanding of the issues facing organizations and utilized these insights to provide practical and effective internal accounting and tax-reporting solutions.

Later, as an associate in the National Tax and Management Consulting practice at Deloitte & Touche, one of the Big Four public accounting firms, he developed a broad-based understanding of tax and accounting information systems.

As a Senior Manager, for Deloitte & Touche Management Solutions, he led teams focused on assisting small and emerging businesses achieve their visions for growth, profitability and stability.

Today, David serves clients that require and recognize the benefits of close attention from an experienced professional.   Many of these clients may have utilized the services of an Accountant or Consultant in the past but now want something different, something more — a trusted business advisor.

David and his associates provide this level of service and focus on the needs of small, medium-sized and emerging businesses.

Alison has a wide range of experience to draw upon.  A graduate of Rice University in Texas, she started her career as an actuary and then moved into the entertainment field in a variety of production positions.  A mother of two daughters, Alison spends much of her free time in various volunteer positions with her church and community. 

Julie has more than 25 years experience in sales and marketing. In addition to managing the marketing and human resource functions for Bay Business Group, she recently became a licensed financial advisor with 1st Global Corporation.  You may learn more about these services  at www.bbgfp.com.

Alicia brings more than 15 years of experience to Bay Business Group.  She speaks fluent chinese and received her B.A. in Business Administration from the George Washington University in 1990.  She is the proud mother of two daughters.

Annette graduated cum laude with her B.S. in Accounting from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1986.  She then worked with KPMG Peat Marwick planning and supervising audits, with a focus on nonprofit organizations.   In addition to her responsibilities at Bay Business Group, she is a mother of three busy teenagers.

Lisa graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.S. in Mathmatical Science, and a concentration in Computer Science in 1985.  She has spent more than 20 years in the information technology, banking and wealth managemen fields..  In addition to supporting her husband in the military and raising her family, she has volunteered for AARP as a Tax Aide, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for children and her church.

Beth, a busy mom of three,  received her Master's in Accounting Systems from the University of Maryland.  She has ten years of experience working as an accounting system analyst, accountant/auditor and a project manager. 

Sheri joined Bay Business Group in 2006.  She has over 20 years of accounting and tax experience, including time in both public accounting and industry.  She was a tax manager for Ernst & Young where she worked with a variety of clients, including nonprofit organizations and small businesses.  Sheri also served as the Director of Community Relations for a small nonprofit, giving her a taste of nonprofit administration. 

Sheri graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University in Texas, and received her Masters in Taxation at The American University in May 1987.  Sheri enjoys volunteering with her children's schools, as well as for a variety of nonprofits in her community.

Mary joined the Bay Business Group  in 2005.  A 1985 graduate from the Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Accounting, Mary spent much of her early career as an accounts receivable manager for various companies in Texas.  She spends much of her free time driving her three children to baseball, softball, volleyball and swim practice.  Mary completed her first marathon last year.

A graduate of James Madison University with a BBA in Accounting, Beth brings more than 10 years of accounting and financial experience to Bay Business Group.  She has worked with both large and small organizations, including  MCI Corporation and is currently serving on the board of her children’s elementary school PTA as Treasurer.  When Beth is not at BBG, she is busy keeping up with her four children and their various activities, especially during the summer when she also serves as the Swim Team co-rep
