Full-Charge Accountant / Bookkeeper

As part of our team, your aptitude for figures and problem-solving skills will help us deliver outstanding service to our small business owners and non-profit leaders. Your excellent work habits, reliability and energy level will help us keep our work-product flowing smoothly throughout the year. We interact with our clients on a frequency basis and your professionalism and helpful attitude will make a wonderful additional our team.

Responsibilities:
• Process client financial information on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Prepare monthly bank account reconciliation and sales tax reports
• Prepare payroll for clients
• Run accounts receivable, payables and maintain the general ledger
• Assist accountants with client projects
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have significant computer experience, as we are a paperless office, heavy on the technology side. Our bookkeepers have excellent communication skills and know how to build strong relationships with their clients. We look for at least three years’ experience in the accounting and/or bookkeeping field. Quickbooks and payroll experience is a plus!

We want you to have the work/life balance you need, and you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that works for you. Our bookkeepers work 25-30 hours a week, 5 days a week on a schedule they create. For example, if you’re an early riser, you might come in at 8am. If you have kids to send off in the morning, we’ll see you at 10am. You create your schedule that works for you. While most of our staff work in the office, some do work hybrid and a few are completely remote.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary and flexible leave. As you ramp up, you’ll be able to earn $45,000 – $55,000/year.
